Reports WEST continues to provide a variety of technical services for the agencies and landowners in the San Luis Valley. From large to small projects we are committed to providing you with the best service and most accurate information possible. Since we began we have worked with local and national land trusts to provide quality Baseline Inventory Reports for Conservation Easements. Incorporating site visits and personal time with the landowner to insure that the end product is an accurate portrayal of the conservation values being protected. We utilize ArcGIS software and equipment in addition to digital cameras in order to document all of the properties infrastructure and values with accuracy. As well, we have accompanied agencies on field trips to look at prospective easement sites to provide our technical advice. We can provide abiotic and biotic over-views of your wetland and riparian areas in order to develop a managment plan that is best suited to the site. Based on the results of background research relating to the overall landscape, geomorphology, soils, hydrology, and vegetation, goals and objectives can be developed which work with the system. Many fact sheets have been developed for a wide range of plant, mammal, bird, and amphibian species.
