Background
 

The partners have over 20 years of combined experience in a variety of wetland 
landscapes from the mid-west to the southwest.  Staff holds advanced degrees 
from the University of Missouri-Columbia in conjunction with Gaylord Memorial 
Laboratory in Fisheries and Wildlife with an emphasis in wetland ecology.  
Research was conducted throughout the Intermountain West in wetland and riparian 
systems.  Experience includes riparian and wetland survey methods in relation to 
vegetation, birds, soils, salinity, and database development.  Work experience includes 
management and monitoring of wetland systems throughout Colorado for a variety of 
private and public agencies.  WEST participates in local wetland conservation efforts 
through the San Luis Valley Focus Area Committee.
