About Us
WEST is located in the San Luis Valley of Colorado, containing significant montane wetland resources in the state. WEST is passionate and excited about work and strives to enhance the quality of natural resources from a landscape to local perspective, while promoting knowledge and understanding of conservation issues in our community.
Background
The WEST has over 10 years of experience in a variety of wetland landscapes from the mid-west to the southwest.Experience includes riparian and wetland survey methods in relation to vegetation, birds, soils, salinity, and database development. Work experience includes management and monitoring of wetland systems throughout Colorado for a variety of private and public agencies. WEST participates in local wetland conservation efforts through the San Luis Valley Focus Area Committee.
